- A student wishing to be admitted to the School based upon previous studies at another recognized academic institution, will submit to the School secretariat upon his registration to the University an official certificate of studies and details of the grades at the institution which he attended.
- The School admissions committee will review the application of the candidate based upon the documentation provided, terms of admission, and the extent of recognition of his previous studies.
- A student will not be entitled to receive a degree unless he has accumulated at least 40 credits at the Uviversity of Haifa.
- Students also majoring in psychology or sociology will be exempt from the introductory courses of theoretical and inferential statistics, and research methods and data processing. They will be required to take two other advanced courses. Students majoring in education, economics or statistics will be exempt from the course Introduction to inferential and descriptive statistics. They will be required to take one other advanced course. Students majoring in Communications or Human Resources will be able to choose whether to take the course Introduction to Statistics in the School of Political Sciences, the Department of Communication, or Human Resources, and will be exempt from the course Introduction to Research Methods and data processing. In any event, students will be required to complete academic credits in electives offered by the School of Political Sciences.
A student may not take overlapping courses. Thus, a student studying in the Department of Statistics the course Introduction to Statistics will not be able to take the course Introduction to Descriptive and Inferential Statistics in the School of Political Sciences.
